Responsibilities of Officers and Committees |
President: |
The president is responsible for the operation of the business functions of the Fire Department and he presides over the monthly business meetings. |
Treasurer: |
The treasurer is responsible for any financial dealings with fire equipment vendors and invoice payment. He/She maintains the ledgers and produces a monthly report. |
Secretary: |
The Secretary records minutes for the various meetings, and posts them for the members to read & review. They draft letters required by the other officers of the Deparment. The secretary is also responsible for the upkeep of department records. |
Fish Fry Committee: |
This committee is responsible for the operation of the fish fry, ordering supplies, assuring that adequate supplies are in stock, setting prices, and making sure the operation runs properly. |
Dance Committee: |
The Dance Committee is responsible for the set up, running, planning, and scheduling of the dances. Also, they ensure adequate staffing for the dances held. |
